A team outing took us to Villa Hügel in Essen, once the home of the Krupp family and now a museum that invites reflection on its complex history and legacy.
During Covid, at the end of 2020, the market square in the small town where I live felt unusually empty. There was only the large Christmas tree - no market stalls around it, something that probably only happened that year.
Inspired by Pep Ventosa’s multiple exposures and his "Trees in the Round" series, I took ten shots from different perspectives, using the multiple exposure function of my DSLR. Since it’s limited to ten images, the effect can’t really be compared to Pep Ventosa’s work. Still, I like the result, which somehow makes the town feel almost like a mountain village.
